12울 23일(화) 오후에 CABCY에서 운영하는 Preschool에 구디백을 전달하였습니다.
저희가 의사소통이 정확하지 않아서 고아원이라고 이야기했었는데.. 고아원이 아니라 아이돌봄기관이었습니다.
CABCY는 왕따와 같은 정신적 어려움을 겪는 아이들을 선도하고 도움을 주는 기관이구요..
오늘 우리가 간곳은 이곳에서 운영하는 Preschool입니다. 2~7세의 어린이 25명정도가 있었습니다.
저희가 도착한 시간에는 아이들 낮잠시간이어서 조심스럽게 준비하며 시작했습니다.
먼저 익투스 가정교회에서 준비한 컵케잌을 아이들 간식으로 대접했고요,
이어서 이향렬 성도님가정의 캐롤과 익쿠스가정교회의 컵찬양퍼포먼스(?)와 손현숙 집사님의 남편분이 산타로 분장하시고 아이들에게 성탄동화를 읽어주었습니다.
처음에 고아원이 아니어서 좀 섭섭(?)한 마음도 있었지만, 아이들이 즐거워하고 성탄절이 무언가 특별한 날이며, 이날에 한국교회에서 와서 즐거운시간을 가졌다는 것 하나만으로도 우리의 마음이 시원해지는 시간이었습니다.
내일 쵸츄캉과 우드랜드지역 양로원에서 또 구디백 나눔의 시간이 있습니다. 기도해주시면 감사하겠습니다.

I would like to thank you and all of your members who had made the time
and efforts to our centre today. I regret that i was not able to be there
today as i was engaged in a meeting for my work.
i had heard a very good report from all the teachers and the children had
totally enjoyed themselves with the cupcakes and goodies that you guys had
prepared for them. i truly, from the bottom of my heart, thank God for all
the kindness and generosity that you guys had shown to our centre and the
children.
i hoped that for all those who had been there had also enjoyed themselves
like our children and teachers had. I would like to express my
gratefulness and thank you again to you and wish everyone a blessed
Christmas.
