Footprints

One night a man had a dream.
He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the Lord.
Across the sky flashed scenes from his life.
For each scene he noticed there was two sets of footprints in the sand.
He noticed that many times along the path of his life there was only one set of footprints.
He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in his life.


This really bothered him and he asked the Lord about it.
"Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way.
But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times of my life, there is only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why, when I needed you most, you would leave me."


The Lord replied,
"My precious, precious child,
I love you and I would never leave you.
During your times of trial and sufferig, when you saw only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you."

하나님께 반항하던 대학2년 어느 날 우연히 큰 액자에 걸려있던 이글을 읽게 되었습니다.. 한참동안 액자앞에 서서 눈물 흘리며 읽고 또 읽었던 기억이 납니다..

그.리.고.는.....또.다.시. 반항의 길을 묵묵히 걸어갔습니다..이건 뭥미??

저의 잃어버린 10년.. 다시 돌아왔을때 이 글이 제 이야기임을, 주님이 나를 안고 걸으셨음을.. 제가 받은 그 크고 가슴벅찬 주님의 사랑을 고백할 수 있게되었습니다.
